Finished up with her visit to the Big Apple, Eva Mendes was spotted leaving her hotel in New York City on Wednesday morning (June 29).

Dressed down in a white t-shirt and red sweats, the "Hitch" hottie toted her suitcase in-hand after having spent the previous night at Salvatore Ferragamo's Women's Resort 2012 Collection event at the James B. Duke Mansion.

While there, Miss Mendes told WWD that she'll soon be heading to upstate New York to begin work alongside Ryan Gosling on Derek Cianfrance’s drama “The Place Beyond the Pines.”

Of opting for the new role, Eva said, “When you have the opportunity to work with an amazing director and incredible actor, you jump at the chance. When they come calling for you, a girl accepts quickly."
