Kate Middleton secured a spot in Vanity Fair’s 72nd Annual International Best-Dressed List in 2011, making the style cut for the second time in three years.
Praised by the publication for her “signature mix of high and low fashion,” Kate stole the hearts - and wardrobes - of many, showing the world that fashion does not always have to come at a steep price - even for a royal!

Her classic, elegant, and reproducible style garnered her the moniker “the pauper’s princess,” with her relatively affordable attire inspiring millions.
The $340 nude Reiss dress she wore when meeting the Obamas in May caused a blowout to the British retailer, selling out online and in the U.S.
From mid-level retailers to Zara to Top Shop, Kate Middleton has proven to be “the princess of our times,” says Zanna Roberts Rassi of Marie Claire:

Notably absent from the list? Pippa Middleton. However, Kate's little sister continues spark her own trends. She is Queen of the Booty, after all.
