All set to make her debut on the grand stage of the NBC sketch comedy, Katy Perry is the host of this weekend's episode of "Saturday Night Live".
Airing on December 10th, the "Firework" singer will be showing off her comedic capabilities while joined by musical guest Robyn.

Shortly after the news was announced, an elated Miss Perry took to Twitter while dishing that she was “SO excited” to host “SNL.”
The selection comes despite the fact that Katy has limited acting experience with only small roles in “How I Met Your Mother” and "The Smurfs" to her credit.

Continuing her efforts to prevent bullying, Lady Gaga went to the White House for a very special meeting yesterday (December 6).




The “Bad Romance” songstress got together with key administration staffers that work for President Barack Obama to discuss how to affect change in situations where children are being targeted by bullies.

Obama Senior Adviser Valerie Jarrett shared, "Lady Gaga has described this cause as a personal one -- she has said that as a child, she was often picked on for being different."
"I am deeply moved by the way she has used her story, and her success, to inspire young people, and shine the spotlight on important issues."

Brooke Mueller Arrest Update: Back Home, Due in Court

Brooke Mueller is safely as home in California at the moment, but her legal troubles are far from over.

Three days after her arrest on charges of drug possession and assault, a judge permitted Charlie Sheen's ex-wife to fly back with her twin sons in order to take care of them. But she's due back in Aspen for a hearing in December 19.






So, what actually went down Friday night? According to The Aspen Daily News, Muller was approached by police around midnight at the nightclub Escobar (where she danced up a storm) after a woman at a different establishment claimed Brooke punched her in the face.

Cops then searched the troubled reality star and discovered over four grams of cocaine on her person. She was arrested and sent to a local jail before Sheen posted $11,000 bond.

Mueller has been in and out of rehab over the years and is reportedly talking with friends now, trying to decide whether she needs to enter another treatment program.

Yes, Taylor Armstrong really is coming out with a memoir that details the alleged abuse she suffered at the hands of late husband Russell Armstrong.

It will be titled "Hiding from Reality: My Story of Love, Loss and Finding the Courage Within," and Taylor unveiled the book cover last night on Bravo:

"My book takes readers behind the glamour of Beverly Hills to show them the terrible violence I suffered, and the slow and painful process of rebuilding my shattered life," Armstrong said in a statement. "I want readers in abusive relationships to learn from my suffering and use my book to help them find their own courage within."

Yes, fellow abuse victims, you can learn a lot from Taylor, namely: if you are rich and famous and have a televised platform from which you can promote, you, too, can profit from the suicide of your estranged husband.
