How Justin Bieber Saved RJ Berger!

Hard times? Hardly!
Justin Bieber — who continues to prove that everything he touches turns to gold — recently gave a major shout-out to the quirky MTV comedy The Hard Times of RJ Berger. And wouldn't you know it, ratings soared!
"Just met the guys who created that new show on @MTV "The Hard Times of #RJBerger" — good dudes," tweeted JB on July 19. "Show's on tonight at 10pm. Funny stuff." 
Thanks to those two sentences, viewership for the fledgling show shot up over 30 percent over the last few weeks, leading MTV to renew Hard Times for a second season.
"Hard Times is a word-of-mouth show and kids are not in school right now where they would be talking about it," said one MTV exec. "That's a problem for us, but Bieber's fans are insanely loyal and I think it's rubbing off on our show."
